榛名 亮 （はるな りょう）
身为主人公的青年。配属于研究所的警备部队的年轻士兵。官阶是准尉。
在世界一片混乱的情况下被双亲抛弃，生活在位于深山的家里，但以某事件为契机下山入队统一军。
作为士兵非常优秀，主动参加看似无谋的作战，在许多战场上立下功绩。
（也因为人口的减少与统一军运营的敷衍了事，进行着现在无法想象的人事异动，但即使如此也是异例的出人头地）
战况稳定之后，根据从前长官的命令开始担任身为Helix的シオン的护卫。
稲葉 直人 （いなば なおと）
シオン所住研究所的护卫部队的队长。
身为有能力的军人，却对出息发迹没啥兴趣。不露本心胡搅装傻的类型。
内心里怜悯着被政府与军队颐指气使的シオン她们姐妹的境遇。
虽然远远比シオン他们年幼，但以监护者的态度与二人接触。
基本上是个好人。
从前，在某任务中捡到还是孩子的主人公，让他加入军队。
对主人公来说是仿佛兄长一般的存在。

我游玩的第一个minori作品，第一个震撼到我的是eden的op，此前没听说过galgame里的op质量能达到这种程度（自入坑galgame后只玩过十到二十部作品），再者就是角色和氛围的塑造，整部游玩下来每个角色都让我记忆深刻，父母作为游击队队员，在榛名亮小的时候便离开了，随后逃出研究设施的夏目与男主相遇，逐渐成为亲姐弟般的家人，后续稻叶直人带走夏目，让亮感到不甘进而进入部队，希望能够再见夏目姐姐。经过数年的厮杀，亮从部队中脱颖而出，但也为自己浑身的污秽感到不堪，只想在战场上厮杀一辈子，无颜面对心里的那个姐姐。在此期间，深受警官父亲影响的拉维被亮在战场上果断和老练的身姿所吸引，和男主一起在设施执行任务，向亮袒露心声，后续也被亮救出诗音的行为所撼（“不会舍弃自身拥有的力量，因为已经知道该如何去使用它——为了爱上并守护他人”）。诗音对自由的向往，艾丽卡对约定的践行，榛名亮的对丢失之物的寻回，塔野真夜的传递， 稻叶直人的赎罪，他们都守住了最珍贵之物。总体来看我觉得是很优秀的一部作品，谢谢你们，诗音，榛名亮，拉维，艾丽卡，夏目，稻叶直人，塔野真夜。还有，谢谢你，minori.

Hey it's an American player here I just got known of this website for galgames by my Chinese friend and decided to post my reflction on my favourite visual novel, hope you guys like it :)

Despite the looming sense of doom, the game doesn’t dwell solely on despair. Instead, it paints a world of haunting beauty, where fleeting moments like sunsets and the sway of grass in the wind create a fragile contrast to the underlying tragedy.
At the heart of the story is the relationship between Ryo and Sion. Ryo, a soldier tasked with guarding Sion, begins his journey with a sense of duty and detachment. Yet, as they share time together, their bond grows into something profound and deeply human. Sion, despite her engineered origin, embodies vulnerability and purity. She laughs, grieves, and dreams, reminding us of the essence of humanity in its simplest and most powerful form. Their connection transcends the barriers of their roles and origins, showcasing the raw power of trust and love.
The narrative doesn't merely explore survival in the face of extinction; it delves into the choices and sacrifices we make for love and purpose. Sion's ultimate decision reflects courage and freedom, a testament to the human spirit even in its most artificial forms. Meanwhile, Ryo’s steadfast presence embodies the quiet resilience of someone who finds meaning in the moments they share, however fleeting they might be.
"eden*" leaves you reflecting on how love and connection can illuminate even the darkest times. The game is a delicate blend of visual artistry and heartfelt storytelling. When the final scene fades and the music lingers, it’s not just a goodbye to the characters—it’s a gentle reminder of the beauty found in fleeting moments, and the depth of emotions that define us as human.
